Orlyra Terms of Service

These Terms describe Orlyra’s current services. Publishing this page does not record your acceptance inside the app; any in-app acceptance request is separate from optional privacy choices.

These Terms describe your use of Orlyra and its supporting services. Our separate Privacy Policy explains how personal information is processed. Accepting these Terms does not grant consent to optional usage reporting, personalized advertising or cross-app tracking.

Intended users

Orlyra is intended for users aged 16 and over. You must meet that minimum age. If you are not legally able to enter this agreement on your own, your parent or legal guardian must authorize your use where required by applicable law. The service is not intended for children under 16.

Purpose and limits

Orlyra helps you discover official recalls and safety notices, look up products, review product-related evidence and ingredient information, save items and contribute product information for review. Its focus is consumer product safety.

No match does not mean a product is safe. A product can be absent from a recall database or warning list and still present a risk. Coverage can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable or limited to certain countries, batches, models or dates. Barcode matches, ingredient interpretation, translations and automated text extraction can also be incorrect.

Always read the original notice and its instructions, and compare the exact product, batch, model and location concerned. A recall affecting one product or batch does not by itself establish that every product from that brand is unsafe. Information about an ingredient should be interpreted in its stated context, including product use, exposure and evidence limitations.

Orlyra is an information tool, not a medical professional, emergency service, testing laboratory or official regulator. It does not diagnose conditions or replace professional advice. If you suspect harm, seek appropriate professional or emergency assistance. For recall action, follow the official authority's and manufacturer's instructions.

Sources and presentation

Official sources, research records, company statements and user contributions can differ in status and reliability. An allegation, investigation, judgment, settlement, withdrawal or closed case must be understood according to its actual status. Orlyra's inclusion of a story is not a finding of wrongdoing beyond what the source establishes.

Source links, dates and attributions help you check the underlying material. External sources can revise or remove content. Cached information and notifications are not a guarantee of the latest status. Logos and images do not imply a partnership or endorsement. Rights in third-party material remain with the relevant owners.

Accounts and notifications

Some features require an account. Use your own authorized sign-in account and keep access secure. Do not use another person's account or impersonate them. You are responsible for information you intentionally submit, subject to applicable law.

Saved-item notifications depend on your preferences, permissions, network availability and source coverage. Delivery is not guaranteed and should not be your only way of monitoring a product. You can change notification settings and request account deletion using the available controls. Uninstalling the app does not by itself delete your account.

Product submissions

Submit only accurate information to the best of your knowledge and material that you are entitled to share. Do not include personal medical information, identification documents, addresses, faces or other unnecessary personal data in product photos. Do not submit unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing content.

You retain rights you own in your submission. You grant DONKEYBYTE GAMES LTD a nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to store, review, process, correct formatting, extract label text from and display your submission as needed to operate Orlyra and its product catalogue. Approved product information and product photographs may be shown to other users. This permission does not authorize unrelated sale of your photographs or use of your personal information as advertising targeting data.

We may decline, correct, remove or request clarification of submissions for accuracy, safety, privacy, rights or service-integrity reasons. Submission is not a guarantee of publication. Account deletion and removal requests are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law; the submission permission remains only to the extent necessary for permitted retention or legal obligations.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, evade security or rate limits, introduce malicious code, exploit unauthorized access, misrepresent source evidence or use the service to harass others. Respect intellectual-property rights and the applicable terms of linked services. Report suspected errors or misuse to contact@donkeybytegames.com.

Advertising and external services

Orlyra may display clearly identifiable advertising when advertising is enabled. The current integration is limited to configured test builds; production advertising is not active. Future ads and their privacy controls must be described before rollout.

An advertisement is not Orlyra's recommendation that a product is safe, effective or suitable for you. An ad cannot override a recall or safety warning. External websites, sign-in providers, product databases and advertising services have their own terms. Take care when sharing information or making purchases on a linked site.

Any future paid feature or subscription will require clear pricing and separate purchase information before you incur a charge. These Terms do not introduce a paid feature or authorize an unannounced charge.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the service useful and accurate, but features can be interrupted, changed or discontinued. We may temporarily restrict access when necessary to maintain security, prevent misuse or meet legal obligations. Where appropriate, we will explain restrictions and provide a way to contact us about them.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer rights. In particular, these Terms do not create a blanket waiver for injury, unlawful conduct or other liability protected by law. Our responsibility for losses is determined under applicable law, including relevant consumer protections.

Ending use and changes

You can stop using Orlyra and request account deletion. Rights and obligations that appropriately continue after use ends, such as permitted record retention and resolution of existing disputes, remain subject to applicable law.

We will identify the effective version of these Terms and give notice of material changes before they apply. If renewed acceptance is needed, it will be requested separately from advertising and optional usage choices. You can contact us if a change affects you or stop using the affected service.

Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Cyprus law to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in a competent court that the law of your residence gives you. These Terms do not require binding arbitration or waive statutory complaint rights.
